Hurdles in a race called life

We all face different problems we face everyday, from missing your taxi to work and being late to being pregnant and seeing rapid movements form your baby in your tummy... yip that is some kind of problem because you dont know what on earth that baby is getting up to.

Now im not only writing this because of my pregnancy but also because I see people facing so much everyday... The homeless guy pushing what we see as his trolly but he see's as his life, the lady who rushes home after work to cook for her kids knowing shes a single mum and no one else will do it. But why do we go through these things??? Whether you believe in God, Allah or Buddah, hurdles will appear out of the blue and you will have to find a way to get over them because life is a race you cant turn back in, you need to make it to the end! With or without water, screaming fans, competitors, Its just a race YOU need to finish for YOU...

Sad, broke, heartbroken, wounded or any physical or mental state u in... just imagine getting your meddal because you will, who knows... you might even get a trophy

Cant move forward looking back!

Ever tried walking with your whole body faced in a frontward position but your head faced backward? Not the most  easiest of activities to accomplish! Hence when you moving on in life then do just that, MOVE ON! 


We  always complain about yesterday when we should be living for today and awaiting our tomorrow, Im married now so I cant just be friends with any body or associate myself with just any body, not because I think I am better than some of the people I use to be close to but because I have a new journey im a part of, Im going to be a mummy to!!! So this got me thinking about all the irritants I have been tolerating, and why? No reason! so no more Ms nice lady, I need to let go of what is holding you back and im doing it slowly and nicely.

You dont have to wait for a big step to let go of things disturbing your progress in life, if you cant benefit somebody and them benefit you then LET GO! It wont be easy but the less unnecessary people you keep close to you the more you can focus on your and your TRUE loved ones success!

I know what I want in life and im 100% certain you also want the best for youself.

Sunday with the family

Helllur!

Today is Sunday, the day that we learnt God had rested, whether you go to church or not, you rest on a sunday, well most sundays! And if you are blessed enough to rest with your family then its a major bonus!!!

So here I am, my husband, my mum, 3 of my aunts, 4 of my uncles and 2 cousins along with some family friends and lets not forget the zoo(3 dogs,3 cats & 4 puppies) lol a mouthfull? Well we sitting eating snacks, drinking and chatting while we wait on the braai meat and boy does it smell amaaaaazing! We sharing laughs while we talk about past family occasions, future family adventures and current family news. I just love the atmosphere, we all have things that bother us about one, two or all of the family(lol) but we put that aside to show each other how much we love each other by holding in all the drama and sharing a meal together. Cant wait for my little family to grow and do this when my little one is running around.

My baby, my baby and I

Hello world,

Today is another day where I look back at how beeeeautiful this chapter of my life is. I keep thinking about the first time He kicked(yes, we want a boy), I went mad, called Nelson(my husband) but by the time he got there it was over :( He was not too impressed. But now the baby kicks so much I dont need to call Him any more, sometimes I even look at my tummy and I can actually see the baby move.

We have been trying to find out the babys gender but He is so stubborn because his legs were closed :'( I was soooo mad but maybe thats how God intended it to be, I mean if we were meant to know the gender of our unborn baby then maybe just maybe our tummy's would be see through during pregnancy(random dum thought). At times im so mad at this baby because He just wont stop kicking!!!! At night I dont even know which side to lay on because this baby moves so much.

But.... Im still loving all these funky feelings, this child better be good or I will let Him know just what I went through with Him.

Life's little big wonders

Feels like just yesterday that I came back from after care in Grade 1 and my mum asked me:"But Rato, where is your other school sock?" and I replied:"How must I know? i never even took off my shoes!"... Now i'm sitting here, 7 months pregnant with the most amazing husband God could bless a woman with thinking to myself "please lord don't let my child be a little rascal like I was.

A couple of years ago i was waiting on mommy to hurry home and make supper, now i'm making supper for my husband and my mother. Life is a wonder, depending on how you look at it, so many people are telling me im to young for marriage, yes that is how they see it but i say hey, my husband and i can now grow and learn together in a more spontaneous way. I wake up every morning and look at my week-by-week pregnancy calander and go wow... soon mommy soon, then i turn and look at my hubby and hope that he wont faint on the day i give birth lol!!!
